Junior Artworker

Due to expansion we now require a Junior Artworker to work within our Studio team. This position is an entry level position and whilst previous experience would be advantageous, it is not essential.

The Role – Junior Artworker

• To deliver error free finished artwork from the brief provided and within the prescribed deadlines

• To maintain a high level of efficiency during each working day and be prepared to work overtime when necessary

• To work in all areas of the studio when required and be willing to learn new and different working practices/software/processes to ensure full support is given

• To give support to the team, account handlers, production and repro in the pursuit of higher client service standards

The Person

The ‘right person’ is essential. We are a growing company and pride ourselves on the great relationship we have with our clients. We therefore only recruit people who can complement our environment and indeed, help us to develop and flourish.

Whilst it is difficult to define the ‘Gratterpalm person’ the ideal candidate would :

• Be Mac literate with a good understanding of all applications required (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop)

• Have a good eye for detail in the preparation of finished artwork

• To remain calm and professional when working to tight deadlines and under pressure

• Have good creative input when needed

• Have good layout skills

• Have good design and typographical skills to be able to apply to all artwork created
