Shopper Marketing

Our shopper marketing campaigns use a shopper-centric approach to increase the relevance of our clients' products, brands and stores.

By building campaigns around a shopper-based view of the world, clients can enhance their overall levels of engagement with shoppers and improve their shopper experience, leading to sales growth and heightened loyalty.

For our retailer clients, shopper marketing can be used to differentiate their stores, increase dwell time, and generate higher trip frequency and larger basket sizes.

For brand clients, shopper marketing increases the exposure and relevance of the brands and products to target shoppers, and takes the brand through to the point of purchase in a consistent way.

Our insight-driven approach targets consumers as shoppers on specific missions, determining how the client store or brand fits into those missions. So whether it's the main trolley shop for monthly groceries, lunch bought on-the-go, or a special trip to buy a chocolate bar, we use our understanding of missions to generate insights that shape our creative.

We do this by understanding the existing knowledge of the shopping environment and by filling in the gaps with fresh insight from our own specialist research, from sources including our monthly shopper survey, focus groups and research within the retail environment.

Every touch point in the customer journey is equally important to us, so whether it is paid-for, owned or earned; physical or online, we speak to shoppers when and where it matters most. We might use press, radio or outdoor to interrupt shoppers out-of-store, then use our in-store expertise to influence behaviour within the retail environment, always ensuring that the out of store brand experience aligns with the in-store experience.
